While in PA this past weekend McDonalds ran tons of ads featuring that the McRib is back (for a limited time of course).
Unfortunately the marketing geniuses at McDonalds things that only people in Pittsburgh like the McRib. Well, maybe I'm only 1 of 5 people in the DC area that do like it and I want one.
This isn't the first time I've seen geographic marketing like this. In Richmond one McDonalds had a "bucket" of fries. It was basically the largest drink container filled with fries. 2 "buckets" = 1 fry basket. True story.
On my way to Harrisonburg one time I stopped and had a pulled pork bbq sandwich from McDonalds. It was actually quite tasty.
I guess I'll just have to move some place where McRibs can be enjoyed by all..otherwise it's just McWrong.

for the record, wilkes-barre has mcRibs, not that I'd eat that junk or anything.
ReplyDeleteAbilene has McRibs and has for sometime now. Apparently John has no problem breaking his No McDonald's rule for a McRib.
