Doing the trade dance

I have to give it to Bowlen. When he wants to trade someone, he does a pretty decent job. The last big trade the Broncos had was to send Clinton Portis to the Redskins and the Redskins gave up their shut-down corner Champ Bailey and a second round draft pick.

This time they trade Cutler for 2 first round picks, a third round pick, and Kyle Orton. Granted Orton is an average QB at best, but maybe McDaniels can coach him up like he did Matt Cassell who didn’t even start a college game…

Hopefully they will trade down a little bit and get a lot of good players in this year’s draft.

For once this off season there is a glimmer of hope.

I really like your chances with Orton. I've always thought that the Colts Super Bowl would have been a little more difficult had Orton been the QB for Chicago instead of Grossman.
